Kitchen remodel

This family was faced with that closed in feeling in their kitchen. We removed the upper peninsula cabinets and extended the cabinetry into the dining area so no cabinet space was lost, and they had room for a dishwasher! We built a microwave cabinet so it no longer had to sit on the counter top. We used part of and existing closet for a small pantry and this kitchen looks twice as big.  All new plumbing and electrical fixtures and appliances including a modern range hood bring this kitchen into the twenty-first century. A travertine backsplash with glass inserts finish off this beautiful kitchen.

We gave these customers a ten day time line and finished in seven!

Bathroom Remodel

We had remodeled this couple’s kitchen several years ago and they contacted us to update their bathroom. We covered their shower tile with TruStone, a product that looks just like stone without the high price tag, with vanity top to match. New tile flooring and modern fixtures were added and now this bathroom is full of style! Oh, the customers are very pleased—again and it took only four days.

Kitchen Remodel

These clients were happy with their existing oak cabinetry as it was not that old and in really good shape. The kitchen itself however felt a little closed in. We took advantage of an unused desk area, added some cabinetry to match the existing and moved their ovens into the space. The refrigerator was moved into the area the ovens were in and we were able to open up the wall looking into the dining room. Crown moulding was added to the existing cabinetry along with a full tile backsplash and granite. Looks brand new now! The kitchen area took only nine days.

The laundry room looked just like one until the Wizards got finished. New cabinetry and a new laundry sink make doing laundry not quite so bad.

Kitchen Remodel

This family spends a lot of time together in the kitchen cooking, baking and canning but it was inefficient and crowed. After some well thought through designs we moved the refrigerator to and existing closet, giving them room on both sides of their range. We cut out an are above the range to use as a pass through into the dining room. We also incorporated a microwave shelf above a new base cabinet to free up and add more counter space. We also added cabinetry at the “breakfast/coffee” bar for additional space. The use of natural hickory cabinetry and flooring tied this kitchen together. Granite counter tops and a full tile backsplash were the icing on the cake. Plus, we were in and out in nine days.

Before-After

As with a lot of our clients, this large family felt closed off from the rest of their home. By using non-utilized areas of their kitchen to move appliances to, we were able to take out a large wall section and voila! You can see from one end of the house to the other. The knotty alder cabinetry was taken up to the ceiling for a lot more valuable space. A “pocket” door replaced a regular door to the pantry and a granite shelf was placed inside with electrical outlets for appliances. We were able to extend their existing island for more seating room and take a look at that granite. Full tile backsplash, soft close drawers and a new pop up mixer shelf are just a few of the amenities in this new kitchen. Only eight days, start to finish.
