Wizard Renovations Inc., was contracted by this long time Idaho business man and his wife to build their “last” home. So, after an existing home was removed the project started. This 5000 square foot home is nestled in the foothills near Star. The couple actually lived on the site and consequently had first hand knowledge of how we build a home. The exterior of the home is finished in stucco and ledge stone, with a stamped concrete entry way and patio. The patio is enclosed with wrought iron railing.
Interior amenities include hardwood flooring and custom tile floors. The kitchen is set off by custom knotty alder cabinetry and the massive granite topped island with lowered granite table at one end.
Several rooms have custom built in “plant” shelving. The master closet comes complete with a sitting bench and built in chests of drawers. The master bath has a sprawling granite counter top with two beautiful sinks and a 6’ x 6’ walk in shower with multiple shower heads surrounded with Trustone, a very cost efficient alternative to granite.
This home was finished off with all custom woodworking through out including the fireplace mantle made from a rough sawn 8” x 8” timber that was brought to us by the home owner. There are custom “wrap” bookcases as well as other custom cabinetry through out the home, all in knotty alder.
As in all of our homes, we let the homeowner design her own pantry layout as well as all other closet areas.
This is our most recent, true example of our craftsmanship at its best.
